Megan writes: My boyfriend and I had a child.  We never married.  Our daughter is now 3 and we are no longer together.  When we were together, we pitched in together financially but since that time, I have been doing all of the work taking care of her.  He wants the same amount of rights to her that I have.  Is that fair?
