I am in middle of a divorce. We agreed on everything but now my wife decided she wants more for the house and we can’t sell it for the amount we agreed upon. She says it’s worth a lot more than I think it’s worth. What are my options?

How did you obtain the value for the home?  Did you each guess?  Did you get a realtor to give an opinion?  Did you obtain an appraisal?  Those are all steps to obtaining a value on the home that is unbiased.  If you intend on selling the home, it makes the most sense to decide on a real estate agent to use for the sale and have that person give you a current market analysis for the home.  If one or you is not being reasonable about the value of the home, the analysis, or an appraisal, can be presented to the Court for a decision as to the sale price.
